Privacy Policy

Last updated: 25 October 2026

This policy explains what information Twende Technologies Limited ("TwendeTech", "we", "us") receives through this website, twendetech.co.tz, and how we use it. We aim to handle personal data in line with the Personal Data Protection Act, 2022 of Tanzania.

What we collect

This website has no user accounts and does not store your details on our servers. We only receive information that you choose to send us:

  • Contact form. When you use the form, the details you type (name, organization, email, phone, the service and budget you select, and your message) are put into a WhatsApp message on your own device. Nothing is sent until you press send in WhatsApp. If you send it, we receive it on our WhatsApp number, +255 767 369 355.
  • Email and phone. If you email info@twendetech.co.tz or call us, we receive what you send or tell us.

How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote, and discuss a possible project with you.
  • To keep a record of our correspondence with you.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your permission.

Third-party services

Some services on this site are run by other companies, which process data under their own privacy policies:

  • WhatsApp (Meta) carries messages sent from the contact form or the WhatsApp links.
  • Google serves the map on the contact section and the website fonts. Your browser connects to Google to load them, which shares technical data such as your IP address.
  • Cloudflare hosts and protects this website and processes standard technical data, such as IP address and browser type, to deliver pages and block abuse.

This website does not set its own advertising or tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry messages for as long as needed to respond and to manage any work that follows, and then delete them unless we must keep them for legal or accounting reasons.

Your rights

Under the Personal Data Protection Act, 2022 you may ask us to tell you what personal data we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you may object to how we use it. To make a request, contact us using the details below. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Commission of Tanzania.
